Why do some personalizations have weird characters?

When checking the data exported from Warmer, you may find some unusual characters. This is not an issue from Warmer's side but is caused by the encoding method set in the program you are opening the CSV in (for example, Excel)

It can be fixed easily.

The easiest solution is simply opening the file in Google Sheets - simply click File > Import and choose the CSV which should open without issues. You can then export it.

If you are using Microsoft Excel and do not wish to use Google Sheets, you can simply do the following:

  1. Open Microsoft Excel
  2. Click Data in the menu bar
  3. Click From Text
  4. Choose the file
  5. Specify UTF-8 as File Origin and Comma as delimiter
  6. Click Load

Your file should open without issues
